Being a partner organisation
Some Isle of Wight organisations and companies are already partners of the IWPCSG. Each of those organisation help us to achieve our objectives of support, awareness, fund raising and education.
The partnerships vary significantly but all provide benefit to Isle of Wight men. The reasons for becoming a partner of IWPCSG also vary significantly. Some are a result of personal circumstances or the personal circumstances of a close family member or friend and some are an understanding that by working together we can reduce the terrible impact of prostate cancer.
In line with our mission statement and objectives, we need help to
-
support Island men,
-
raise awareness of the disease and the importantance of early diagnosis,
-
as with all charities, to raise funds
-
educate everyone about the disease, diagnosis, treatment, recovery and ongoing monitoring.
Our partners' assistance depends on the support they can offer. Many help us by providing a service at low cost or free. Some provide funds for specific projects or tasks. Others allow our members and volunteers to place banners on their sites for the public to view and give us space to hold promotional events where we can engage with the public to raise awareness and education.
